#ONEMums Lend Us Your Voices!

Saturday, 13 October 2012

My lovely followers might have noticed that I like to take part in a weekly linky called Reasons To Be Cheerful. Well the linky was created by Mich at Mummy From The Heart. And since Saturday I've been glued to Mich's blog for updates on her trip to Ethiopia with the ONE campaign

Please visit her blog to read all about the amazing work of ONE.org that she's been seeing first hand on her inspirational trip.

Clare at Seasider In The City has created this MEME as a light-hearted way of getting everyone involved and doing something fun. All you have to do is use the letters of ONEMums (or ONEMoms) to create phrases or just words that sum up the meaning of being a mum for you personally. You can be serious or silly, just write your post and include the link to sign up for ONE, and then add yourself to the linky on Clare's blog.

What being a mum means to me:

Overwhelmed by the love for my children
New exciting experiences and more fun than I've had in my whole life!
Every time I feel those little arms round my neck, it's the best feeling in the world
Mum is the hardest but most rewarding job in the world
Unconditional love that makes everything alright
My beautiful babies
Supermum - I am not!

Now spread the word and encourage others to join in.

What Else Can I Do?
Sign up to ONE, add your voice to the movement and get behind the campaign
